I find it highly unlikely that Hor would make us do research to solve a puzzle. The puzzles are most likely based on logic. I think it might have to do with "the sum of 10 is 1" or something. Alphanumeric codes, maybe?

The kill felt really random. That narrows down the possible suspect somewhat.

#6 is revealed to be "your colleague" (and Roxis), which probably means that he's a detective, and thus means that either #12 or #20 is an assassin.

I got 20 again, so I think people who get the same answer as I should focus on 20 and either we find an assassin or we know a number that's an assassin.

Both cases it's still a step forward.
