Death Penalty is a complete failure.

Troy Davis has faced execution three times for a crime he may not have committed. In an unprecedented evidentiary hearing held in a federal district court in Savannah, Georgia in June, 2010, he was able to present evidence supporting his innocence claim. However, the standard for proving his innocence was “extraordinarily high”, especially given the lack of physical and scientific evidence in his case. The federal judge ruled that he did not meet the high standard, despite the fact that doubts about his guilt remain unresolved. It is more important than ever that we continue to let Georgia authorities know that we oppose any effort to execute Troy Davis. Sign the petition today!

NOTE: Due to high volume of supporters, please keep trying to sign this petition if your initial attempt does not succeed

Please help to notify every American (the petition applied worldwide, I only put the emphasis on American since Troy Davis himself is an American) in G2Anime and convince them to sign the Amnesty International petition before it's too late:

I will see if I can post this message on the main site as well.

If they don't have any evidence, they should let him go. Why death penalty if they don't even know if he really did it? The bastards.

The more people who sign it, the bigger the chance is they'l let him free. Come on people, have a heart.

Very true.
The final appeal will be held one day before the execution, and the massive amount of petitions is but one way to save him on that fateful day.

This is an Amnesty International Petition, not the same as Manga Petition.
Yes, I am aware of the influence Amnesty International has, but in this day and age a large international moral outcry probably will not suffice to stop a biased court.

Hahaha, that RT news report is hilarious. Ahh, Russian media remains the best.

Also, Im not going to sign the petition. Sorry for being a dick about this, but without any knowledge on this case, Im not going to support a possible murderer. Furthermore, I think that if a judge would listen to a petition like this, it means that not the people who are supposed to be judges dont decide in the end, but a bunch of people who base their opinion on very limited knowledge of all the available evidence. Just because the media and some other people say the guy is innocent doesnt mean they are right.

You always have the need to troll me in every thread I made, lol.
And please you don't need to lie, nobody is saying he's innocent.
The point is that death penalty can only be established when the evidences are beyond reasonable doubt.

You're not a dick, you're just a shameless human being.

No, not troll you. We just seem to disagree on every single thing. And since this is a debate section, this would be the best place to tell you that and why I disagree with you. After all, there isnt much of a debate or discussion possible if everyone just agrees.
