Question, ok the theme is depth, does that mean it's only a background that has depth in it or like has to have a render/character stock image as well? Or does it matter?...

Well, it's up to your interpretation of the theme. For me, I'd say that Depth would make use of the whole signature to create depth, like blurring the backgrounds and sharpening the foreground.

Depth, in general, is an element of the tag wherein it is used to emphasize a focal. You heard it right, this depth theme also requires for a tag to have a solid focal in order to show depth.
