well my siblings are 16 and 17 so it's not that bad (though they tend to disagree loudly and sometimes violently) o.o i end up acting like a dictator at home to get things done...

Unless they're bitches feminist or come from a feminist perspective, I don't see much of the problem, considering his action was merely voluntary, but his reasoning for doing so befits your point. Her use of Gentleman really negates anything I can substantially rebut in regards to your premise.
