I prefer tragic genres for I just recently discovered and have gone out of the closet. I'm a no-longer closet masochist. I like to despress myself from time to time. And reading/watching something very sad (though I only pucker up and laugh at it) from time to time.



Yeah. Zero no Tsukaima was sad for me. Elfen Lied too.

I'm reading Gakuen Alice as well but I guess it's not Shoujo? Is it?

I like most, if not all, genres of manga (seriously, I can't think of one that I actually dislike), but my favourites are undoubtedly horror, psychological and gore. I just can't get enough of them.
