[Request] Ghost Hunt

I made this thread yesterday, but I'm not sure why it didn't get posted on the site. Oh well, I'm just making a new one.

Anime: Ghost Hunt
# of Episodes: 25
Genre: Psychological, Supernatural, Mystery, Comedy, Horror(mild)
Summary: Ghost Hunt follows the adventures of Kazuya Shibuya, the president of the Shibuya Psychic Research Center (SPR) and Mai Taniyama, a first year high school student. The story begins during an exchange of ghost stories between Mai and her friends, who are interrupted twice: first by a mysterious "male student" and then by a fellow classmate, who warns them of how their ghost stories attract spirits.
While out walking, Mai sees the building that all the ghost stories surround and decides to go in. As she is about to touch a camera in the middle of the room, a man stops her and ends up injuring himself. Mai is then forced to work as a stand-in assistant for the man, an employee of the "male student," who was hired to study the "paranormal" events occurring at the school. Mai nicknames this "student" "Naru" for his narcissistic attitude. Naru owns a paranormal investigation company SPR and Mai eventually earns a part-time job at SPR after assisting with the first case. The more involved Mai becomes with Naru, the more she learns about herself and her feelings towards him.

I personally haven't watched the entire series, but from what I've seen, it's a pretty amazing show. The first mission was a bit bland, but it merely served to introduce the ranging cast of characters, their preferred methods of dealing with the supernatural/restless spirits, and basically set a basis for their relationship together. The second mission picks up the pace, and every single mission after that seems to get better and better. I was watching the haunted mansion mission in the dark at 4:00 am in the morning, and one scene gave me shivers down my spine as well as goosebumps. Although not a particularly scary anime, it does have its moments and it creates a suspenseful mood extremely well.

If I were to compare this to any other anime, I'd say it would have to be a Higurashi no Naku Koro ni type of anime with a twist. While Higurashi's plot is somewhat more intricate and well thought out, Ghost Hunt is a series of missions that can be watched in any order (to an extent though as there is an underlying progressing character development basis that gains momentum with every mission). I definitely think this anime is worth a watch.

Thanks for your time;
