Hi! I was interested, and so here I am. Remember, I am an extreme novice, just learned how the chess pieces moves(yes).

It is just impossible for me to comment on the second game lol, but I will give some tips for you in regard to the first game.

1. Nf3 d5 2. d4 e6

e6 is playable, but not recommended for novice. Better here is to activate your light-square Bishop with Bf5 before the pawn structure is closed.

1. Nf3 d5 2. d4 e6 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. Ng5 Qd7

Activating your Queen early without specific reason is bad, best to activate your Knight here with Nf6 or Nc6.

1. Nf3 d5 2. d4 e6 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. Ng5 Qd7 5. Bf4 Nc6 6. e3 f6

Nf6 is better.

In general, remember this; always activate your pieces as soon as possible. Think about it this way; whenever a game of Chess is played, White has the first initiative and Black seeks equality.

Yay, thanks for joining the chess forum :>

Yes, chess is an interesting game xD

I think chess is the root of RPG games or something like that xD

And I have no proof for that lol

Anyway,

Cool 3 games in a row to comment xD

lol

Kaze has given his comments, so there's no need for mine since he has better comments xD

3. ... a6

Not a really good move, your opponent had decided from the beginning to take your knight using his bishop to control the center, so the only way to protect your knight is by moving it somewhere, but I would suggest you to go with queen's pawn double squares (3. ... d5).

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5[/chess]

3. ... d5 will give you a better chance to protect the center even though it will limit the white bishop movement.

In this case, if the bishop decided to take the knight, use the pawn next to the rock's pawn to take the bishop.

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6[/chess]

Now, you opponent has 3 choices,

1. take your pawn (5. exd5).

2. evade the pawn exchange by moving his pawn and block the above pawn from opening a way for the white bishop. ( 5. e5).

3. Move the other pieces. If the white would go defensive, most likely, it would be the knight to protect his pawn (5. Nc3)

If the white would go offensive, most likely, he would go with the choice #1 or #2 above or moving his queen to g4 (5. Qg4).

If he would take your pawn, then take it back using the pawn in front of another pawn.

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. exd5 cxd5[/chess]

lol

Look at that great wall you would have. xD

If he would avoid the exchange, then deploy your troops. You have switch the table. xD

You shouldn't go with c5, asking for a pawn exchange to deploy your bishop

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5 c5 6. dxc5 Bxc5[/chess]

because your opponent would use this chance to deploy his bishop first [the game doesn't always go along with your plans most of the time because you are still a beginner). >__<

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5 c5 6. Be3[/chess]

Oh no, now he got to deploy his generals first. The table has been switched again by a single turn >_<

That's why c5 isn't a really good move. ._.

If you examine again your position.

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5[/chess]

Your central line is powerful. ^^

Your white square bishop's movement is limited by your own pawn. =(

Your knight's movement is limited by the white pawn. =(

You are free to deploy your queen. ^^

you may go defensive or offensive.

But your position doesn't give you advantage if you want to go offensive because you don't have much pieces to support your campaign >__<

If you want to go offensive, go with Ba6

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5[/chess]

Your white bishop will negate the chance of the white player to castle with his nearest rock. ^^

If you want to go defensive, you may go with f6 or other moves, if you go with f6...

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5 f6[/chess]

If he would exchange his pawn, then deploy your knight.

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5 f6 6.exf6 Nxf6[/chess]

You opponent would move his bishop. You move yours.

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5 f6 6.exf6 Nxf6 7.Bg5 Be7[/chess]

Your opponent would move his knight to castle. You move your bishop to negate the castle. Your opponent curse you for being a jerk probably, And you also probably laugh.

Let's back to

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5 f6[/chess]

If your opponent would deploy his bishop, you deploy bishop.

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5 f6 6.Bg5 Be7[/chess]

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5 f6 6.Bg5 Be7 7.Nf3 Ba6[/chess]

He couldn't castle and move his queen because that would be a waste of move, so he would move his knight. You take the pawn. He takes your bishop. You take his bishop. He takes your pawn. You castle.

[chess]1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 e6 3.Bb5 d5 4.Bxc6 bxc6 5. e5 f6 6.Bg5 Be7 7.Nf3 Ba6 8.Nc3 fxe5 9.Bxe7 Nxe7 10. dxe5 O-O[/chess]

yes, you need more practices ^^

Learn from every mistake. Try not to redo the same mistake. ^^

If you couldn't find any good move, feel free to post it here. Let's discuss about it together ^^

Chess isn't about moving pieces. It's an awesome ancient game. It's so awesome that people are still playing it 'til now xD

btw,

what is the 10, 000 hour rule? o.0
