Welcome to the Brotherhood.


We Assassins have long been embroiled in a secret war against the Templars since the Third Crusade. Ours goals are very much the same, peace throughout the world, but our methods could not be more different. The Templars seek the Pieces of Eden in order to forcefully submit humanity under their control. They believe peace can only be obtained through subjugation, but that is not true peace, only an illusion of peace. Our Brotherhood has successfully thwarted their plans for several centuries. However much has changed since ancient times.

The Templars now call themselves Abstergo and though they are mostly hidden from the public, they are very much in control of every large corporation in the world. Their resources vastly outmatches our own and they hunted us down to the very brink of extinction. And that is why we must train you young Assassins.

We have improved upon the Templar's Animi and through it's bleeding effect, you shall relive the lives of your very ancestors in a matter of a few days and their skills shall pass unto you. Though not all of you shall relive the life of an Assassin, and some of you may even find that your ancestor was a Templar, or possibly just a regular person, all the skills you obtain through the Animus shall be extremely valuable.

Remember our three tenets as you relive your Ancestors memories.
Stay your blade from the flesh of an innocent.

Hide in plain sight.

Never compromise the brotherhood.​

System Mechanics


Combat System
The combat system in this AG is just simple math of 1+ 1 = 2.
All attacks in this game hail from weapon items. The weapons state what they will do to the target, whether it's wounding them or injuring them, suffice to say it's pretty straight forward. Below is the Pain Chain which show the condition players can be in, and it shouldn't surprising to see that some conditions that match what weapons would do to target player's.
Now back to the simple math that exists in this AG.
When two players wound the the same healthy player, that player ends up injured.
Similarly, wounding a wounded player will cause them to become injured.
However if a player injured a wounded player, the player jumps up 2 ranks in the Pain Chain and ends up incapacitated.
Add 2 wounding together it becomes an injuring. Add an incapacitation, it becomes a killing blow.
Simple right?​

Healthy > Wounded > Injured > Incapacitated > Near Death > Dead
Limitations of each condition.
Healthy, Wounded, and Injured people are freely able to use their role abilities and pickpocket people.
Incapacitated people can no longer use their role abilities, but they can still pickpocket people.
People in a state of Near Death can do neither, and they will die in one day if they don't obtain an elixir from a Doctor. They are still allowed to post in the discussion thread and vote.
Dead people are dead. They will not come back as zombies.​

Players will naturally heal as long as they have harmed during the day.
An incapacitated player will only be injured the next day.
An injured player will heal to wounded status the next day.
And a wounded player will become healthy again the next day.
The only exception is the person in Near Death state, whom is going to die instead of heal.

Protection System
Protecting someone in this game is providing them with a Rank # protection. A Rank 1 protection negates wounding. A Rank 2 protection negates injuring. Two Rank 1 protections become a Rank 2 protection. And so on.​

Monetary System
Everyone will begin the game with a predetermined amount of florins. Most players will have personal goals dealing with the amount of florins they have by the end of the game. During the midst of the game, you can use florins anyway you please, as it is freely transferrable. Some examples of what it can be used for.
Buying items, trading for info, helping the poor. Your money, your choice.
Since money will only be properly transferred at the end of the day, money can easily be lost by those easily duped. However, transactions with merchants(Arms Dealer, Tailor, Art Dealer, Bankers and Doctors) will be secure.
The merchants will PM the price they set for their wares/services and who they're selling it to, and the buyer will PM the same price and the merchant they are buying from. If the prices and names do not match, the deal will fall through and no florins will be lost.

Pickpocketing System
Pickpocketing is a real time ability that all players can use up to 3 times per day in addition to their role ability. To use the ability, you simply PM me with the title “Pickpocket” and tell me the target and you will steal 10 florins from them instantly.

However in life, one cannot go about stealing whatever they please without taking on some form of risk. That is the case in this game as well. Players can at any point choose to guard their florins from pickpocketers by PMing me with the title “Guard” however this comes at the cost of all actions for the day. It is not a foolproof protection against having your money stolen as it depends on the condition of yourself and your pickpocketer, but it is much better than nothing.

Guard System
When a player enters into Guard mode, they will remain in that mode for 24 hours, but as stated before it will cost all your actions for the day. While in Guard mode, you cannot use your role specific ability and you cannot pickpocket anyone for the duration of the Guard, and so as to prevent abuse of the system, the number of pickpocketing you did before you activated the Guard during the day, will be subtracted from the amount of times you can pickpocket the next day.
Example: You pickpocket 2 people 6 hours into Day 2 and the you activate Guard. Anyone who attempts to pickpocket you for the next 24 hours will risk failing and placing suspicion upon themselves. After 24 hours elapse, Guard is no longer active and you can only pickpocket 1 time for the remainder of Day 3.

There is no cooldown to Guarding and there is no limit to the amount of times you can Guard, so a player can choose to Guard themselves for the entirety of the game, however that also means they will be doing nothing for the entire game... And while a player can choose when to activate Guard, they cannot choose when to end a Guard as once it has been activated it will remain active for 24 hours no matter what. Also it goes without saying that Guard is a real time ability just like Pickpocket is.

The Guard system is not infallible though as it can be broken. After someone who is Guarding has been target 4 times by pickpocketers, their Guard will no longer be in effect, and it will be completely safe to pickpocket them. However no one will be told that someones Guard has been broken, thus the same rules apply to the Guarder regardless of whether their Guard has been broken or not.

A simple way to prevent Guards from ruining your day is to pickpocket dead people. However that in of itself will raise your Suspicion meter by 20%​

Guard Success Rate Chart
Healthy Person Guarding Against Pickpocketer of such a condition:
Healthy = 50%
Wounded = 65%
Injured = 80%
Incapacitated and worse = 100%

Wounded Person Guarding Against Pickpocketer of such a condition:
Healthy = 40%
Wounded = 50%
Injured = 60%
Incapacitated = 75%

Injured Person Guarding Against Pickpocketer of such a condition:
Healthy = 25%
Wounded = 30%
Injured = 40%
Incapacitated = 50%

Incapacitated Person Guarding Against Pickpocketer of such a condition:
Healthy = 0%
Wounded = 15%
Injured = 20%
Incapacitated = 25%

Suspicion Meter
The Suspicion Meter works in conjunction with the Pickpocketing and Guard system, however that is not the only way raise one's suspicion meter. As stated before, failing to pickpocket someone will raise one's suspicion meter by 25%. In addition, attacking another player will also raise one's suspicion meter by 10%. When someone's suspicion meter reaches 100%, they will be placed on the Wanted List and become an enemy of the City Guard.​

Factions and Normal Victory Conditions
Assassins- Eliminate all of the Templars
Templars- Eliminate all of the Assassins or reduce the number of non-Templars to your current number.
City Guard- Eliminate the Assassins and ensure the Wanted List has no more than 2 people alive.
Citizenry- Survive with more florins than you began the game with.
Neutrals- You need only complete your Personal Goals.​

To obtain Supreme Victory, players must satisfy both Normal Victory Conditions and their Personal Goals.


General Rules and Inactivity Rules
1. All forum rules apply.

2. Players can only use 1 role ability/weapon ability per day.

3. Instant abilities do not count towards that. If the item can be used immediately, the only limit to the amount of time you can use it is your stock.

4. If players fail to post in the discussion thread on any day, they will involuntarily donate 10 florins to the Inactive's War Chest.

5. Said War Chest can only be accessed by the Assassins, and only they will know how much is inside. They can use it for w/e they want.

PMing Rules
1. Use title AG Action when using your role ability/item ability. Also include and Item or florin transfers in this PM as that happens at the end of the day.

2. Use title AG Question when asking a question.

3. Use title Pickpocket when pickpocketing.

4. Use title Guard when activating Guard.

5. Use title Instant Items for those pesky consumable items that can be used right away.

Of all the role I can get, it has to be a simple citizen who is nothing more than an assassination practice target -.-" (Yeah, in the game, I usually like to murder citizen for fun xD)

In AC, (especially Masyaf), it is almost a goal for me to clear the town, so it is devoid of life xD

They have to be terribly boring to kill, since I don't recall them being able to defend themselves at all lol

Killing them stealthy without alerting the guard is fun xD
