Touch, H2, Cross Game, Rough, Katsu, Miyuki and many more!!

What do you like about Mitsuru Adachi mangas? And how did you know about them?

I like the character development and plot development. They are always consistent and realistic, which is good since the genre is real life romance and sports with normal people as characters except for Miyuki since it isn't dealing with sports. I love the humor sensei puts in his mangas too. They come in at the right time and fits the scene. The characters' faces are simple and clean. Sensei uses the same faces in his mangas but IMO, this just shows his genius in plot as a whole. Same faces, more or less same personality yet completely different in lives and situations. The background art is amazing. The details in the trees, the baseball park, the sunlight, the cicadas, it's all there. The only down side for me is the endings. It leaves you with the feeling of "wanting more" and "it's not enough (except for Miyuki) but I guess it gives the chance for us fans to come up with our own continuation to it but that's just me.

I knew about them through searching the net. I was bored and wanted something to watch and I found Cross Game Anime. It captivated me. I finished the whole series in two days and in between those two days I can't stop thinking about the story and characters. When it ended, it left me with the feeling of "wanting more" and it's not enough" so I just fantasized about it, to get over that feeling. It took about a week to just accept that, that was really the ending and I can't do anything about it. I searched more of his works and that's where I encountered H2 Anime but the story in the anime was way too short for me. I searched for the manga... and the rest is history.

Yeah, the character styles and forms are their the same. :/

Sensei focuses more on plot and plot development so his characters may not different in appearance but they have different situations even if the genres are the same (Sports, Romance). Pure Genius in portraying "everyday life" on sensei's part.

Yeah... I'm a Mitsuru Adachi fan boy. XD
