At least... that is the dictionary definition of the term. But... writing is so much more than that. It is a storm. It is a gentle caress. It can heal a broken soul, or call men to arms. It is the alpha and omega of the universe, created with a scant twenty-six letters.
That is why we are creating this: the Writing of the Fortnight. A celebration of words, sentences, nouns, verbs. A celebration of the beautiful and horrifying aspects of language. A competition, wherein writers do NOT compete for fame or glory, but for the satisfaction of seeing their words come to life.
THEME: Freestyle. Write about what you wish, provided that it falls within the guidelines.
