Why members hide their real name

None of the members in the forum use there real name as there ID. Why is such? Bits me. Because I use my real name. So what does the other members think about it.......:laugh:

Almost all people hide their names in the internet. Why? Probably for security reasons or maybe they just don't feel like it to tell their names. I, as well, don't like telling other people my name with no reason at all.
