We are Prostitutes!

Lexus missed my point, construction workers fundamentally exchanges their strength and skill.
Sex workers fundamentally exchanges their body, you don't need skill or above normal strength to be a prostitute - you just need a body.

There's a fundamental differences between body and strength/skill.
So, callcenter workers are prostitutes as well? All you need for that is a reasonably clear voice and grasp of the language to be one.

Ive gotta say, I certainly felt whored out after a night of verbal abuse from people who hated me for calling them.

Hmm and how about supermarket cashiers? Operating the cashier and being able to count are the only required skills there.

There are enough jobs that require almost no skill or no skill at all, only that you have a body.

You are being objectified for your voice!

;-o

Kaze's letting subjective moral considerations creep in on this one.

The language barrier is rather persistence, nonetheless let me try once again:

Profession: Sex workers
Transaction object: their bodies

Profession: call center workers
Transaction object: their - acquired through training - skills (not voice!).

Profession: supermarket cashiers
Transaction object: their - acquired through schooling - skills (not bodies!).

Honest observers will concur that from all three examples above, only prostitution requires no skills as profession. Absurdly enough to be questioned, all normal human being will have body and voice, but that's not even the point of the argument. Both call center workers and supermarket cashiers exchanges their skills which they learned through schooling and/or training with capital, a sex worker on the other hand - exchange her body (to be exploited as sex object) with money.

Not to be difficult or anything, but I'm pretty sure that once you start paying more than $20, "sex workers" are probably skilled enough at "pleasuring" their clients for it to actually make a difference. So in that case there is a "skill" involved. I don't imagine a $2000 luxery escort and a $20 hooker would provide quite the same experience, and not just because of the money involved, but because of the relative skill level of the two.

That's true, and I even mentioned it in post #31. However, despite the differences between street hooker and high class escorts in term of "skills", the fundamental object that they both transact for money is still the same - their body. You're not a sex worker by the very definition if you do not sell your body as sex object.

Not everyone can just have sex and be good at it. Giving a blowjob requires some amount of skill, or else it wont turn anyone on. Having sex also required some amount of skill. No one likes to have sex with an unresponsive sack of bones where you can put your penis in. Having sex all night long with multiple men requires a certain mental and physical constitution, not everyone can work physically exhausting work for 8-10 hours a day. You need to be able to sell your body, or else you wont get any costumers. You need to be able to observe proper hygienic protocols, or else you get sick or pregnant.

See, plenty of skills right there. Sure, you might not learn them at a school, but they are skills that need to be learned non the less. And the difference between a good prostitute and a bad prostitute is their grasp on these skills, just as the difference between a good call center worker and a bad call center worker is their grasp on language and ability to clearly communicate over the phone.

Well, I can't argue with fantasy.
Apparently, all the sex workers that I saw on the street every night are just a figment of my imagination.
Since none of them wear any sort of advertisement, displaying "their skills" as such that can distinguish one worker with another.

Anna Suvari from the bunny ranch in nv:
"Looking for real American beauty? Look closer. I'm Anna Suvari, an award-winning companion for discerning gentlemen, ladies and couples at the World Famous Moonlite BunnyRanch.

Humble and soft-spoken by nature, I much prefer to let my actions -- and my clients -- speak for me. To that end, one describes me in a recent review as a “wet dream come to life.” Another calls his experience with me “life changing,” while a happily married couple refers to me as a “sexual dynamo ... the closest thing to nirvana.”"

Why do you have a hang up on generalizing all prostitute kaze. At first you said despite the glaring fact otherwise that sex could never be considered a skill and a prostitute can only amount to an object... And here we are again at the generalizations.

edit: ok this new forum is sucking it up with my phone >.>

And again you fail to bridge the gap between prostitution on a pedestal as inherently degenerating to other services you sell your body.
Take a model for example, they sell their body to their client to do as they need to serve their need. Someone who gives blood/plasma for profit hands over their body for them to use as they need for their purpose. Someone who chooses to do a clinical study for pay whether it be physical or psychological hands over their body to be picked apart as needed for the research.
