Time the Thief



The toll of the bell goes on and on

As memories fade, gone and gone

Cling to truth, and memories fond

In fear that soon they will abscond

Wisdom comes, and wisdom goes

How long it lasts whoever knows

Time will take it all from mind

But in your heart, will never find

Life for Me



This is not the life for me

Rooted to ground, just like a tree

Like a circle fit into a square

Looks like a match, something’s not there

Let me float just like a cloud

Out not bound, just all around

Taking life without a sound

In not small steps but single bounds

Left to sink or left to swim

Let this be known I will not drown

But rise up singing with my crown

In my pretty little gown so do not try to keep me down

This would be the life for me

Floating on forever free.
