I agree. WTF!!! It just pair of pants. I don't care if I loose pair of pants. But for some reason this person is actually sueing 65 million dollers just for a pair of missing pants. It just plain stupid. I don't blame the Chung famaliy moving back to South Korea. I probably do the same.

Hahaha, I remember seeing this on the news. I believe the suer is also a judge. Reasons like this is why the states have so many lawyers. A few yrs ago the stats were showed that 50% of the labour force were lawyers I think.

Meh, it isn't really america alone..Some people are just too full of themselves to have a common sense and since US is pretty big there's a bigger probability of those people being concentrated there...

I do like the US though, but like I said, some people are stupid.

...yeah, in good ol' rainy England, people really don't like the US. Though I think that's because over here, our mental images of America include: George Bush, Top Gear presenters getting chased by people in Alabama for having "Man love rules ok" painted on their cars, insanely large meals and fat and/or angry people *cringes*

The same can be said for everywhere else in the world, and I have many, many great American online friends, but I'm still one of these people who points and laughs at George Bush's (lack of) grammar.

NOTE: I am not trying to start a flame war, I am just giving an example of common views over here ^^

Unfortunately I agree with envie... the thing that's unfortunate about that is that I'm American. I myself am not a fat angry Bush supporting arrogant American (however I can call them that because I am American), but I do live in America. Not all people in America are like that, however stereotypes are usually not just completely made up, and unfortunately Bush was voted in two terms, so at least half the people here are stupid. I think the world really hates the US for many reasons:

1. Our complete arrogance
2. Some of our overly extravagant lives
3. Too many stupid people (come on who likes stupid people?)
4. George Bush
