Grave of the Fireflies is an excellent anime movie

I definitely recommend it, it's about two siblings during the end of World War Two in Japan.

Rawr, I've also seen it a long time ago on TV. It was so.... sad. Don't get me wrong, it was "great" as an anime, but I'm avoiding any such sad movies from now on.

GOTF was a really good movie, but sad. If you liked that, i would recommend the anime movie Barefoot Gen, it also deals with the war.
