[/quote]No, not even from the same era(you can notice the difference from the above pic, mines is has more colour and more advanced graphics). Metroid is a sci-fi sidescroller action-adventure. This one is a sci-fi sidescroller space shooter.

When I say "more colour and advanced graphic" than Metroid, this make you think of more primitive games(which are just white pixels on black background)?



Yes, that games company is Japanese. It has another title(which most of that company's game do).
